KEY NOTES

  • Tyler Reddick made his first of multiple starts of the 2023 season in the No. 24 GEARWRENCH GR Supra on Sunday evening in the Production Alliance Group 300 at Auto Club Speedway.
  • Due to inclement weather on Saturday,  practice and qualifying were cancelled and the field was set per the rulebook, requiring the No. 24 GEARWRENCH team to start from the 24th position.
  • The No. 24 GEARWRENCH GR Supra had gained 14 positions  by Lap 15, proving the speed of the 24 machine.
  • Overall, Reddick reported the handling of the No. 24 machine was good, but was a tick tight throughout the 150-lap race.
  • Stage results:
    • Stage 1: P26
      • Pitted during Lap 27 caution period, giving up track position.
    • Stage 2: P14
  • Following the Lap 55 restart, Reddick suffered damage to the left front of the No. 24 machine when a competitor made contact on a pass, requiring the 24 team to pit for damage repair under green.
  • Reddick and the No. 24 GEARWRENCH team ended up 36th, two laps down.
